Third country in Europe after the UK and the Netherlands, Italy has implemented, through Legislative Decree March 14, 2014, n. 49 Directive 2012/19 / EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. The new law, in confirming the setting of the current system, introduces a number of innovations through which the State seeks to reach new and ambitious collection targets set at Community level.
