Within H2020 FORCE Project, a Circular Economy project on PLASTIC, WEEE, ORGANIC, WOOD AND WOOD WASTE (www.ce-force), INVOLVING THE CITIES OF
Isw, partner of WEEENMODELS life, presented the project at CWIT final conference taking place on 25th/26th June 2015 in Lyon (France). In particular Isw has presented the analysis of European Best Practice regarding the solutions for logistics of WEEE, and dissemination of WEEENMODELS project content. The Countering WEEE Illegal Trade (CWIT) Project has received funding from the European Community’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013), and aims to collect, study, and identify gaps in the current legislation on WEEE in place at the International and European level, such as the European Commission Directives on hazardous substances in products put on the market in Europe and their treatment. Furthermore, the project plans to develop a set of recommendations aimed at authorities and stakeholders to assist them in countering WEEE illegal trade.
