Within WEEENMODELS the exhibition “Il riciclo è un’Arte”(“The art of reuse”) has been organized at Palazzo Ducale, in the city centre of Genoa. The artist Annarita Serra works with recyclable materials to give a new life to waste.
The visitors can enjoy several artworks that are full of magnificent colors and that create contemporary suggestive and irreverent mosaics.
Plastic from the sea, coffee pod, computer pieces, bottle stoppers, rags and many other types of waste that give life to artistic icons to shock the public; however, once the artworks are observed from a little distance they reveal their true identity.
The exhibition will be open until February 6th, 2015 in Space Open the main courtyard of Palazzo Ducale. From Tuesday to Sunday 15-19 hours. Free admission.
The exhibition was organized by Amiu partner of the European project Life + WeeenModels born to improve the recovery and recycling of waste WEEE (Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment).
